Sophie is a kinesiology student at Memorial University, working towards becoming an occupational therapist. She has been taking dance classes since the age of three and is now a senior on the competition team and a member of Performance Program 7. 

Sophie began assisting at the age of 9 and has always had a love for helping young children. Over the years she has taught several Steffen Dance Summer Camps and recreational classes and she was a key member of the Adaptive Dance programming, assisting with the classes through the duration of the program. Sophie trains in ballet, pointe, modern, hip hop, jazz and tap. She is very excited to share her passion for dance with you this season!
