Michaela is a grade 11 student at Holy Heart Of Mary High School, and began her dance training at the age of 2. She is a member of the Senior Competition Team and through her Performance Program Seven and Advanced classes trains weekly in Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Latin Jazz and Ballet with a special passion for hip hop and modern. She’s always loved performing on stage, as well as in class, and being in front of an audience.

Michaela has been a teaching assistant since 2016, and has always had a passion for helping younger children reach their goals. She teaches the Steffen Dance Summer Camp programming. Michaela is thrilled to be returning as a hip hop teacher, starting as a competition team choreographer and is one of the lead instructors of the new Steffen Dance hip hop team. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for dance in the 2023-2024 season. Michaela is so excited to be teaching, and cannot wait to meet her students!
