Alicia Hartley
BA (Hons) Co-Artistic Director and Competition Team Director
Alicia is an experienced performer and teacher and has been active in the local musical theatre and dance scene for over 20 years. In most recent years, Alicia has transitioned from the role of "dancer" to "choreographer" working on musical productions, independent dance shows and musical tributes. Credits include:
No Change in the Weather, Phantom of the Opera, the Frosty Festival Opening Ceremonies, Les Miserables, NSO, Legends: Michael Jackson, Fame: The Musical, Mary Poppins and 9 to 5. Alicia is excited to add dance adjudicator to her resume and will be travelling nationally to adjudicate dance competitions for the 2025 competition season.
Alicia has been a teacher in the St. John’s dance community for 15 years. She focuses her teaching in goal driven work, pushing dancers beyond their personal expectations to achieve their goals. For her, there is nothing more fulfilling as a teacher than seeing a dancer reach their individual goals both in the classroom and onstage and the dancer seeing how much they can really accomplish.
