DANCE QUEST PRODUCTION

Convention: There are conventions and World Performers Canada auditions covered under your fees. These are happening on Wednesday. The convention schedule is at the bottom of this page.
World Performers Canada Audition: During the convention the judges will be hosting auditions for Team Canada - a dance team that competes internationally. Several of our students were selected to be on the team last year from either audition or their performances and Emma Nash competed in Portugal this past Summer! If your dancer is interested in auditioning, they will need to book their spot by clicking THIS LINK, scrolling to the bottom of the page and filling out the form. It is my understanding that you can sign up on location too but they prefer you do it before hand so time is not wasted. There is no additional fee for this audition.
Parking: Plan for parking downtown or a nearby parking lot. This will be easier on the weekend when not competing with local businesses for parking. There is paid parking available at the Sheraton. Give yourself an extra 15-20 minutes to find parking just in case!
Competition Viewing: There are limited seats available for parents to view the competition. Please be aware that you may need to stand depending on the category.

Dance Quest Odyssey: Dance Quest invites both judge’s choice and the highest scoring pieces to participate in their Odyssey finals. These take place Sunday Night at 7:30-8:00 PM. As you will remember last year this was quite the event for all of us. Please keep this time available. I will message the various parent and student group chats and update you as I learn who has qualified for Odyssey. Finalists will be announced when everyone in that size category has competed.
Schedule: In order, to get the schedule out as fast as possible I have attached the version of the schedule they send. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ARRIVE AN HOUR BEFORE YOUR PERFORMANCE TIME.
