Can my child try a class first?
Due to class size limitations we do not allow drop in trial classes, HOWEVER we do offer a satisfaction guarantee within the first month. If the class is not for you, we will refund the remaining classes.
How do I find a suitable class?
Click here to fill out our “Help Me Choose A Class” form on our webpage and we will happily guide you to a selection classes we feel are best suited to your child.
Does the parent stay or leave?
Typically, you have a choice. We have large observation windows and plenty of seating. However, during the current pandemic only parents of the under 5-year old’s will be permitted to stay, and that would be one parent per child with modifications in place. Other students will need to be dropped off, preferably outside the studio, but new families may bring the child into the studio but must abide by our safety rules (which are currently being created in conjunction with Government guidelines). Parents of older students are asked to drop off or wait in the parking lot.
Are there other costs outside of registration and class fees?
If your child chooses to participate in our end of year dance recital there will be a costume fee. Parents are also responsible for buying any tickets they wish for the show.

Can my child join a specific class with their friend?
This depends on the class level and if there is space in the class. Please email admin@steffendance.com to enquire.
What are your teachers’ qualifications?
Our staff have diverse and interesting backgrounds, but all are selected based on their natural and enthusiastic ability to teach. Some of our teachers have dance degrees, some have specific dance teaching qualifications, other are qualified based on many, many years of experience. Some of our younger teachers trained directly under our experienced staff.
All staff are encouraged and supported with training opportunities and mentored.

How big are your classes?
We pride ourselves on reasonable class sizes. Our Little Steps classes are typically 8 – 12 students. Our older classes usually between 12 – 16 students.
How is parking?
We share our good-sized parking lot with the Dentist next door. For the most part the dentist runs during the day and we operate in the evening. We try to stagger class start and end times to ease parking lot congestion allowing parking for all.
